Poverty profile of the population in Aceh Utara Regency, year 2024

Abstract

The percentage of poor people in 2024 was 16.11 percent, down 0.53 points against the percentage of poor people in 2023 which was 16.64 percent. The number of poor people in 2024 amounted to 104.49 thousand people, reduced by 2.28 thousand people against the number of poor people in 2023 which amounted to 106.77 thousand people. The poverty depth index in 2024 was 2.78 percent, up 0.62 points against the poverty depth index in 2023 which was 2.16 percent. The poverty severity index in 2024 was 0.70 percent, up 0.28 points against the poverty severity index in 2023 which was 0.42 percent. The poverty line in 2024 was recorded at Rp 473,719,-/capita/month, an increase compared to the poverty line in 2023 of Rp 454,361, /capita/month.
