Data and information are needed to support the planning, implementation and evaluation of development results so that they can run well. Data on socio-economic conditions is needed to provide an overview of development achievements and can also be used by policy makers to evaluate development programs. Data related to people's living needs such as clothing, food, shelter, education, health, security and employment opportunities are needed to find out how far development results have reached all levels of society.The data and indicators come from the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) which is designed to produce socio-economic data on the population in the education, health, housing and socio-cultural sectors. This publication is presented in the form of percentage figures for a population. Some data is differentiated by gender to meet the needs of gender gap analysis.With the publication of this book, it is hoped that the need for statistical data on people's welfare can largely be met
